On June 2, 2025, the RACAS Foundation had the honour of participating in the Tanzania Ending Child Marriage Network (TECMN) Annual General Meeting 2025 a powerful and collaborative forum that brought together changemakers, advocates, civil society organizations, and development partners from across Tanzania united by a common goal: ending child marriage in Tanzania and beyond.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for shared learning, strategic dialogue, and networking among organizations working tirelessly to protect girls from early and forced marriages. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions on progress made, challenges encountered, and innovative approaches to strengthening advocacy and community-level interventions across the country.
It was also during this milestone occasion that the RACAS Foundation was officially welcomed as a member of TECMN - a proud achievement that strengthens the Foundation's collective voice in championing every girl's right to education, safety, health, and an empowered future free from the harmful practice of child marriage.
RACAS Foundation reaffirms its unwavering commitment to working hand in hand with all stakeholders to challenge harmful cultural norms and traditions that perpetuate child marriage, and to uphold the rights and dignity of every child. As TECMN's guiding principle affirms Sauti Moja - together, we raise one voice to end child marriage in Tanzania and beyond
We are proud to work with these amazing organizations
