On March 16, 2026, RACAS Foundation successfully hosted its 2nd RACAS Iftar of Hope at Umra Orphanage Centre in Magomeni Mikumi, Dar es Salaam. The heartwarming event brought together volunteers, partners, supporters, and children in a spirit of unity, compassion, and generosity - creating a beautiful evening filled with warm meals, joyful smiles, and meaningful moments of togetherness.
The Iftar of Hope initiative reflects RACAS Foundation's deep commitment to ensuring that vulnerable children particularly those living in orphanage centres feel seen, valued, and loved. By sharing a meal together during the holy month of Ramadhan, the Foundation sought to bring not only nourishment to the children, but also a sense of dignity, belonging, and hope for a brighter future.
